On Saturday, May 30, 2009, a determined group of supporters convened at NorthPark Center for Parkinson Voice Project's first annual Talk Walk. To raise funds and awareness of Parkinson Disease and Parkinson Voice Project, they strolled a 1 mile course through the mall, walking the walk and talking the talk (with quite a bit of window shopping along the way.) To fuel their trek, they enjoyed lunch at La Duni and capped the day off with a raffle for over $2,000 worth of prizes donated by NorthPark retailers. Our thanks to the over 400 registrants and to the many sponsors who made this exciting event possible.
