On December 3, 2008, Parkinson Voice Project hosted its first annual Holiday Open House in its new facility. It was a wonderful evening as 300 guests listened to beautiful holiday music provided by Dallas String Quartet and ate delicious food catered by Central Market. Parkinson Voice Project also hosted a special fundraiser called a “Voice-Raiser,” which generated nearly $11,000 to help Parkinson patients “raise” their voices. In addition, speech-language pathologists offered free speech screenings, while meeting with Parkinson patients and their families.
Below are just a few photos of the Holiday Merrymakers who made this such a success.
